29 CFR 1910.136(a): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used protective footwear when working in areas where there was a danger of foot injuries due to falling or rolling objects, or objects piercing the sole, and where such employee's feet were exposed to electrical hazards: a) Shaver Box #5: On or about July 6, 2023, the employer exposed employees to struck-by and caught-in hazards, in that protective footwear was not worn by employees that manually handle wood logs and enter Shaver Boxes. The Agri-Products, Inc. DBA Suncoast Bedding was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 1910.136(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1511050, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on April 30, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 182 Peachtree Road, Fitzgerald, GA.
