(a) Production Area: On or about 07/13/2023, employees were exposed to hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, alkaline compounds such as lime (calcium oxide) that are contained in commercial grade Quikrete mason mix, without the benefit of a written hazard communication program.

29 CFR 1926.451(h)(2): Employees working below a scaffold were not protected from falling tools, materials or equipment in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs (h)(2)(i)-(v) of this section. (a)Worksite: On or about 7/13/2023, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while handling brick and moving materials in an unprotected, non-barricaded open area under and around tubular welded frame scaffold without a toe-board, where bricks, hand tools, along with heavy tubs and buckets of mortar were being staged on overhead levels.
