29 CFR 1926.651(e): Employees were not required to stand away from any vehicle being loaded or unloaded to avoid being struck by any spillage or falling materials: a) 820 US 22 Bridgewater, NJ 08807- Four employees preforming dunnage operations were working in close proximity to an excavation bucket loading bundles of 3x10 lumber. The bucket was approximately 4 feet from the ground when the bundle of lumber fell out of the bucket and struck the employee on his right side causing serious injures. Employees were not required to stand away from the excavator to prevent injuries. Incident occurred on 7/24/23.
