29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 7/26/2023 at a roof project located at 5 Middlebury Lane, Lancaster, New York; employees were installing shingles roof of a two story house. The roof had an 5 in 12 pitch and an eave height of approximately 18 feet. There was no fall protection in use. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Employees were accessing the roof with an extension ladder and the side rails of the ladder did not extend 3 feet above the landing surface. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
