E.V. General Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1655292, citation 1, item 3, and was affirmed final order on May 10, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 2837 Rock River CT., Summit, WI 53066. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(22): Employees using ladders were carrying objects or loads that could cause the employee to lose balance and fall: a) On July 28, 2023, Employees were exposed to fall hazards while carrying 2x6 boards down an extension ladder from a height of approximately 20.2 feet. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
