29 CFR 1926.651(i)(3): Sidewalks, pavements, or appurtenant structures had been undermined and a support system or another method was not provided to protect employees from the possible collapse of such structures. a) Jobsite located at 1130 N. Delaware Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19125 on or about August 15, 2023. The employer failed to install protective systems in an undermined excavation. Employee was observed next to the undermined portion of an excavation, approximately 5 feet in depth, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
