29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. On or about August 16, 2023, employees exposed to overhead hazards were not protected by hard hats, exposing employees to struck-by hazards. Maestro Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1638613, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 15, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1310-1314 Green Brook Ct. Hanover Park, IL 60133. Maestro Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1601233, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 1, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 3644 White Eagle Dr. Naperville, IL 60564. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
