29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. (b) Warehouse loading dock area: On 09-18-2023, a powered industrial truck (PIT) operator was exposed to wet slippery floor, dock-plate and trailer deck conditions from rainwater coming through the loading dock area, and vertical protrusions along the trailer lift assembly while attempting to maneuver the PIT over these surfaces.
