29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  (a)Fiegen Construction Company at 1600 East 39th Street North, Sioux Falls, SD 57104:  On or about and at times prior to September 25, 2023 the employer did not ensure that one or more methods of machine guarding was provided to protect the operator from amputation hazards associated with the use of a Bosch 4100 10" Table Saw.  An employee was using the table saw to cut 4 foot x 8 foot x 4 inch pieces of Stryofoam - Squared Edge Insulation in the shop area without the blade guard assembly in place.  This condition exposed employees to amputation hazards associated with the unguarded table saw.
