29 CFR  1926.100(a):  Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns:  At a worksite located at 1121 Corinthian Pl, Lee's Summit, MO, 64081, an employee was exposed to struck by hazards.  The employer exposed the employee to these hazards by allowing them to work without a protective helmet while in conditions that exposed the employee to struck by hazards from falling objects.  This hazard was observed on or about 10/3/2023.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  At a worksite located at 1121 Corinthian Pl, Lee's Summit, MO, 64081, employees were exposed to fall hazards.  The employee exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to work at heights greater than 6 feet without the use of fall protection or mitigation measures.  These hazards were observed on or about 10/3/2023.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):  Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  At a worksite located at 1121 Corinthian Pl, Lee's Summit, MO, 64081, employees were exposed to fall hazards.  The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to utilize a portable extension ladder in a configuration that did not allow the side rails to extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface for which it was being used to gain access.  This hazard was observed on or about 10/3/2023.
