29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At a temporary location 22426 87th Terrace, Lenexa, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet 2 inches from the top edge of the second level of the structure to the ground below in that fall protection was not utilized. The Garcia Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1524815, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 05-11-2021 with respect to a workplace located at 15310 W 171 Place in Olathe, KS.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: At the jobsites located at 22426 W 87th terrace, Lenexa, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet 2 inches from the roof to the ground below, in that the aluminum ladder used to access the roof did not extend at least 3 feet above the eve of the roof. The Garcia Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number_1524815, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 05-11-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 15310 W 171 Place in Olathe, Kansas.
