29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a. On or about October 3, 2023, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential carpentry framing operations, fifteen (15) feet four (4) inches above ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. b. On or about October 3, 2023, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential carpentry framing operations, eleven (11) feet three (3) inches above ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. JZ Custom Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1662661, citation number 2, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on July 28, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 340 Walnut Ridge Ct. in Frankfort, Illinois.
