As such this worker was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 25 feet to the ground below.   Condition noted on or about 10/12/23.  NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR  1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level:    a- 102 Vaughn Drive, West Windsor NJ: A worker performing fascia board installation, and other related activities, while working and walking from a residential structure's outer wall top plates was not protected from falling while wearing a full body harness whose attached lanyard's anchor point consisted of the lanyard being wrapped around a wooden roof trusses' interior chords and its metal connection plate.  The end of this lanyard was knotted back to itself.  As such, this worker was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 25 feet to the ground below.  Condition observed on or about 10/12/23.   b- 102 Vaughn Drive, West Windsor NJ: A worker performing fascia board installation, and other related activities, while working and walking from a residential structure's outer wall top plates was not protected from falling while wearing a full body harness whose attached lanyard's anchor point consisted of the lanyard  being wrapped around the top chord of a wooden roof truss.  The end of this lanyard was knotted back to itself.  As such, this worker was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 25 feet to the ground below.  Condition observed on or about 10/12/23.
