At the job sites located at 13013 State Highway 96, Carthage, MO 64836: Employees were exposed to electrical shock and fire hazards in that the employer used flexible cords that were run through holes in the ceiling and wall in the following instances: A) In the main shop, multiple pieces of equipment were connected to flexible cords that were run through the ceiling. B) In the paint area, flexible cords were run through the wall above the sink.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(D):Flexible cords and cables were used where attached to building surfaces: At the job sites located at 13013 State Highway 96, Carthage, MO 64836: Employees were exposed to electrical shock and fire hazards in that the employer attached flexible cords to the building surface in the following instances: A) In the main shop, near the welding equipment flexible cables were attached to the structure. B) In the paint area, flexible cords were attached to the overhead I beams.
