29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1):Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used: At the temporary jobsite located at 13729 Quigley St., OVERLAND PARK, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to electrical hazards in that the extension cord providing 110 VAC power to the worm drive circular saw was significantly damaged. The insulation had frayed, exposing the conductors. Faster Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.403(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1523058, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 12, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 16816 Kaskins, Overland Park, Kansas.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): At the temporary jobsite located at 13729 Quigley St., Overland Park, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 18 feet 7 inches from the top plates to the ground below in that fall protection was not utilized. Faster Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1666543, Citation 1, Item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 29, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 13708 Earnshaw, Overland Park, Kansas. Faster Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1523058, Citation 1, Item 3 and was affirmed as a final order on July 12, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 16816 Haskins, Overland Park, Kansas.
