29 CFR 1910.178(q)(6): Powered industrial trucks were altered so that the relative positions of the various parts were different from what they were when originally received from the manufacturer, by the addition of extra parts not provided by the manufacturer, or by the elimination of any parts without the manufacturer's approval: a) Lumber Yard: On or about October 24, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while operating the Hyster 80XL SN F005D03854L forklift with a back up alarm, horn, and back up lights being disabled and rendered inoperable. b) Lumber Yard: On or about October 24, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards while operating the Toyota Model 025FGU40 forklift with a back up alarm, horn, and back up lights being disabled and rendered inoperable.
