29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) 9265 Charley Lane, Montgomery, AL; On or about November 2, 2023 and times prior the employer allowed employees to use a job-made ladder to gain access to the top of the walls and the rails of the ladder did not extend three feet above the landing to provide safe access exposing employees to fall hazards of 11 feet 10 inches.
