On the 6:12 pitch roof of the single-story house, at 9484 Balsam Fir Court, Jacksonville, FL: On or about November 28, 2023, the employer exposed an employee to eye injury hazards from flying debris while using pneumatic-powered nail guns, in that the employee was not protected by protective eyeglasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section: a. On the 6:12 pitch roof of the single-story house, at 9484 Balsam Fir Court, Jacksonville, FL: On or about November 28, 2023, the employer exposed roofing employees to 8-feet and 11-feet fall hazards from the eaves and edges of the roof, in that they were not protected by a fall protection system. The Turnkey Roofing of Florida, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1654844, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/25/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 6646 Heidi Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32277.
