29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about November 29, 2023, at a jobsite located at 1525 Sandhill Boulevard, Hartland, WI 53209, employees conducting decking of a 10:12 pitch roof on the west side of an new residential home were not wearing fall protection. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 17 feet from roof to the ground below. (b) On or about November 29, 2023, at a jobsite located at 1525 Sandhill Boulevard, Hartland, WI 53209, the employer did not block windows on the West and North side of a new residential home while conducting interior carpentry work, exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 8 feet from the window to the ground.
