29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2) : Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. On or about 11/28/2023 at Lot #87 Misty Ridge Dr., Four Seasons at Hatteras Hills, Magnolia, DE 19963 - CSHO observed 4 employees exposed to fall hazards while walking and working on a timber framed residential structure without the use of personal fall protection. CSHO observed there was no responsible person to inspect the area for any potential hazards before the work started. Since there was no inspection, the employees proceeded to work at heights over 14 feet as measured by the aluminum ladder exposing themselves to fall hazards and using a ladder that was erected improperly. The VF Contractors LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.0(b)(2)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1623805, citation number 01, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/13/2023, with respect to a workplace located at Lot#35 Currant Circle Loganberry Development, Barney Jenkins Road, Magnolia, DE 19962.
