29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a) On or about November 29, 2023, Delta Building Center LLC, did not ensure that employees were protected from ingoing nip points and rotating parts while operating the MRS PBR roll former with serial number 05-03-146TR. Employees were exposed to amputation hazards in that guards were not present that would prevent employees from entering parts of the body within the operating cycle of the machine.
