29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.   a) 501 Lakeview Ave, Pompton Lakes NJ:  Employees engaged in siding activities using a pneumatic nail gun were exposed to eye loss and eye injury hazards as a means of eye protection was not being utilized. Condition observed on or about 12/08/2023.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access.   a) 501 Lakeview Ave, Pompton Lakes NJ:  Employees engaged in siding activities using a portable extension ladder were exposed to fall hazards as the ladder side rails were not raised to 3ft above the upper landing surface. Condition observed on or about 12/08/2023.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) 501 Lakeview Ave, Pompton Lakes NJ:  Employees engaged in siding activities on a 6 on 12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 14 feet to the asphalt below as a means of fall protection was not being utilized. Condition observed on or about 12/08/2023.  LRG Construction & Services Co, Inc was previously cited for serious violations of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1564537, Citation # 1, Item # 1, issued on 02/28/2022 with respect to a workplace located at 37 Maplewood Boulevard, Suffern NY 10901. This citation became a final order on 10/25/2023.
