29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles: On or about 12/14/2023 at a residential construction jobsite located at 259 Sonnet Circle, Wentzville, MO., employees were exposed to a struck by hazard. An employee was observed operating a pneumatic nail gun without any form of eye protection while actively installing new roofing material.
