29 CFR 1910.120(d)(1): Appropriate site control procedures to control employee exposure to hazardous substances were not implemented before clean-up work begins: a) Ammonia Engine Room - On or about December 19, 2023, and at times prior to, employees were exposed to health hazards associated with anhydrous ammonia in that, the employer failed to ensure that appropriate site control procedures were implemented to control employees exposure to ammonia (NH3) before clean-up work begins for an indoor Ammonia leak due to the failure of solenoid valve.
