29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be used where run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors. a) In the Production Department - On or about January 5, 2024, the employer ran a flexible cord used to power the conveyor belt for the tostada line that was ran through the ceiling, thereby exposing employees to the hazards associated with electrical shock. b) In the Production Department - On or about January 5, 2024, the employer ran a flexible cord used to power the conveyor belt for the chips line that was ran through the ceiling, thereby exposing employees to the hazards associated with electrical shock.
