29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator was competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l). (Construction reference 29 CFR 1926.602(d)): a) At or near 533 Churchill St, Teaneck NJ - Front: Employees and other workers were exposed to fall and struck by hazards as the All Terrain Forklift was operated by an individual that had not been trained and evaluated in the safe operation of the equipment, on or about 1/12/24. WSZ Framing Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.178(l)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1580534, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/8/22, with respect to a workplace located at 146 Park Ave., Allendale NJ.
