29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) 1478 South 30th St West, Billings, MT: On or about January 29, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 24.5 feet to the concrete ground below while installing a metal roof onto a steel building without the use of any fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2): Scaffold platforms and walkways were not at least 18 inches wide: a) 1478 South 30th St West, Billings, MT: On or about January 29, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards while using the railing of a scissor lift to access the upper level of a 24.5 foot tall steel building in order to install metal roofing materials without the use of fall protection.
