29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: On January 30, 2024, employees were exposed to fire hazards in that, a fire extinguisher located in the employee break room was not mounted. In the event of an emergency, employees would have difficulty locating the fire extinguisher which had been placed on the floor. The Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1702908, citation number 03, item number 06 and was affirmed as a final order on January 11, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 26568 Redwood Highway, Cave Junction, OR
