29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14):Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached) where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening is 6 feet or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening: On or about February 2, 2024 the employer Comte Construction Company at jobsite located at 600 Superior St. Rossford OH 43460, did not ensure employees were protected from falls, in that employees were exposed to falls through wall openings 15 feet and 10 inches from the second level to the ground below, while conducting construction framing activities and throwing trash and debris out windows of the commercial building.

29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1):The employer did not verify fall protection training by preparing a written certification record: On or about February 2, 2024 the employer Comte Construction Company at jobsite located at 600 Superior St. Rossford OH 43460, did not develop or maintain a written record of certification for all employees who might be exposed to fall hazards. Comte Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard CFR 1926.503(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1668740, citation number two, item number one and was affirmed as a final order on July 12, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 2140 N. Summit St. Toledo OH 43611.
