29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) 3302 Atlanta Rd SE: On or about February 14, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that the portable GORILLA LADDER Model: GLMPXA-18-2 was not extended at least 3 feet pass the edge of the trench. The ladder was placed at the edge of the trench for employees to enter and exit.
