29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) On or about February 16, 2023, on the roof, where employees cleaning up roofing building material and gathering tools more than 6 feet above a lower level were not protected from falling by any type of a fall protection system. b) On or about February 21, 2023, on the roof, where employees performing roofing work more than 6 feet above a lower level were not protected from falling by any type of a fall protection system. Swadley Roof Systems LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1519546, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 07, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 105 FM 518, Section A, Kemah TX, 77565.
