29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that one or more methods of machine guarding was provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On and before March 4, 2024, the employer did not protect employees from hazards created by rotating parts. The employer did not ensure that drive roller (WLL 60T) was adequately guarded, and one employee sustained injury when he was caught in a pinch point while applying zinc paint to bolt holes as the tower part rotated.
