The employer required N-95 respirators for tasks including but not limited to cleaning out the lasers and emptying dust collection bins but did not ensure employees were medically evaluated prior to respirator usage. Kinney Manufacturing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1691621, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 5, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 3340 North 33rd Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.
