29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, and service rooms shall be kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition. a) Upper Mill Floor Near Resaw: On or about March 25, 2024, and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to fire hazards in that employees were allowed to work in areas where combustible dust had accumulated on floors and equipment.

29 CFR 1910.213(e)(1): Each circular resaw was not guarded by a hood or shield of metal above the saw so designed as to guard against danger from flying splinters or broken saw teeth. a) Upper Mill; On or about March 25, 2024 and at times prior thereto the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards in that employees were allowed to operate a Northfield Table saw/Resaw without a guard in place above the saw as required by the regulation.
