29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a- Building B014, Lawrence Township NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 13 feet 9 inches to the ground surface below, when walking and working at and near the unprotected edges of a residential structure's second floor while not using fall protection. Condition observed on or about 04/11/24. b- Building B014, Lawrence Township NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 12 feet 2 inches to the concrete flooring below, when walking and working at and near unprotected floor openings. Condition observed on or about 04/11/24. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
