29 CFR 1926.652(g)(1)(ii): Shields were not installed in a manner to restrict lateral or other hazardous movement of the shield in the event of the application of sudden lateral loads: (a) New Commercial Construction located on Peachtree Road Brookhaven, GA 30319: On or about April 25, 2024, employees were exposed to struck-by and caught-between hazards while working inside a trench shield, in that the trench shield was not backfilled to prevent or restrict lateral movement while engaged in pipe installation activities.
