The employer did not evaluate the control panel of the fire alarm system (Unimode 200UDLS) to ensure it was in operable condition. The system has been emitting a constant beeping sound and has not been addressed to determine the source of potential malfunction, exposing employees to a fire hazard.   NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.
