CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a. In the Warehouse, located at or near 3716 NE 49th Avenue in Gainesville, FL: On or about May 12, 2024, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards, in that the safety guard was missing from the Hanwa Swiss Machine XD 42 Serial Number XD-42-CP-0031 to protect the employees from moving gas cylinder shaft.
