29 CFR  1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Reference: ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard 5.4.2 The eyewash unit shall be located on the same level as the hazard and the path of travel shall be free of obstructions that may inhibit the immediate use of the equipment.  Custodial Closet: On and/or before May 23, 2024, employees used corrosive chemicals such as ZEP DZ-7 disinfectant cleaner and ZEP Bowl Shine during assigned cleaning tasks. The employer had not provided quick drenching or flushing eye wash station in area for immediate emergency use which potentially exposed the employees to retinal or corneal burns.
