29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: a) Operational Technology Division Engineering Research Facility: On or about May 30, 2024, an employee used a Powermatic 2000 rip table saw to cut plywood without a guard installed above the saw blade, thus exposing the employee to a possible amputation hazard. No abatement certification or documentation required.
