29 CFR  1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.  a) 103 East Main Street Annville, PA - On or about June 24, 2024, employees conducting roofing operations on a 2/12 pitch roof were not protected from an approximately 12-foot fall hazard to the ground below.  Top Notch Exteriors was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1624282, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 29, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 501 South 9th St., Columbia, PA 17512.  Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
