29 CFR  1910.215(a)(4): Work rests on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch:  Workshop: On June 25, 2024, a Rockwell bench grinder (serial no. G10-200-2), had a measured 3/4" gap between the work rest and the wheel. Employees were potentially exposed to laceration and pinch hazards.  Inyo National Forest was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1607532, citation number 1, item number 1, group letter b, and was affirmed as a final order on October 31, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at Lee Vining Ranger Station.
