29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1)(i): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use PPE on knowing when PPE is necessary: a. On or about August 7, 2024, in the machine shop, the employer trained and required people to wear gloves at all times except when working on rotating equipment. The training provided was inadequate because the training did not conclusively state which machines are considered to have rotating equipment and where glove use would be prohibited as to not create exposure to a more significant hazard.
