29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes must be free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp must be provided where the exit route is not substantially level. a. On or about September 16, 2024, the access to the emergency exit door #1, located in the square foot area in building 3827, was obstructed by wood pallets and sheets of plywood. b. On or about September 16, 2024, the access to the emergency exit door #3, located in the square foot area in building 3827, was obstructed by wood pallets.

29 CFR 1910.28(b)(2)(i): 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee in a hoist area is protected from falling 4 feet (1.2 m) or more to a lower level by one of the systems listed in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(2)(i)(A)-(C). a. On or about September 16, 2024, in the warehouse area of building 3827, the gate to the second story hoist area was open, exposing an employee, unloading file boxes in close proximity to the unprotected edge, to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet in height. VRC Companies, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(2)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1635910, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 8, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 3827 - 3655 Brookham Drive, Grove City, OH 43123.
