This condition potentially exposed employees to amputation hazards.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: Pneudraulics Clean Room: On October 1, 2024, and at times prior thereto, an emergency exit was obstructed with test stands attached to mobile carts. This condition potentially exposed employees to fire hazards from not being able to safely exit from the building in the event of a fire or emergency. Fleet Readiness Center Southwest was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1444713, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 4-27-2020, with respect to a workplace located at FRCSW, Bldg.472, Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego CA, 92135.
