This condition exposed employees to fall Hazards, approx. 24'. Incident occurred on October 3, 2024.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. A) 436 Grier Ave Elizabeth, NJ 07202 - The employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in roofing activities were protected from falls by the use of a proper fall protection system. An employee cleaning gutters fell approx. 24 feet and sustained serious injuries. Incident occurred on October 3, 2024. The JM Group Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1587053, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on August 11, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 41 Westmont Drive Medford, NJ 08055. The JM Group Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1567172, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 28, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 40 Westmont Drive Medford, NJ 08055.
