29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii):Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): A.) Clarion Bathware, Grinding Room, on or about 10/15/24 and times prior thereto: The Apron saw was not adequately guarded to prevent employees from contacting the point of operation in that an employee while grinding the overflow valve suffered a laceration to the right hand after coming in contact with the moving blade. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
