29 CFR 1910.212(a)(2): Machine guard(s) on machine(s) were so installed that they offered accident hazards in themselves: A.) Clarion Bathware, Grinding Room, On or about 10/25/24 and times prior thereto: Employees were exposed to rotating parts and nip points while operating and working near equipment including but not limited to the Grizzly 7" Pneumatic Angle Sander. The guard on the backing plate was damaged exposing employees to the holes on the backing plate. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1):Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: A.) Clarion Bathware, Wood Shop, On or about 10/25/24 and times prior thereto: the guard on the Saw Stop Table Saw was damaged. The plastic guard which was composed of three sections on each side was missing a plastic section on one side which exposed employees to portions of the saws blade. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENATION REQUIRED
