29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: Employee(s) were exposed to thermal hazards. This was observed on or about October 30, 2024, at 71045 North Hwy 50, Pawnee City, Nebraska. The employer failed to conduct a job hazard analysis to determine if personal protective equipment was needed for the specific task being accomplished. Employees were exposed to the release of pressurized steam during maintenance activities that necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
