29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(ii)(A): Contaminated work surfaces were not decontaminated immediately or as soon as feasible when surfaces were overtly contaminated or after any spill of blood or other potentially infectious materials: Company: On, or about, October 29, 2024, a machine and work area was not decontaminated with an appropriate disinfectant following a serious hand injury on a Mark Andy 2200 printing and die cutting machine. The area was cleaned with 99% alcohol which is classified as an antiseptic and its effectiveness against blood borne pathogens is not known in that it is not registered antimicrobial disinfectant.
